Within the practice of benefits leveling, it can be challenging for your internal team to scale their US benefits practices into international solutions.  I've been able to partner with organizations and present international approaches that work administratively, and place their Benefits team in a leadership position with your international vendors.

SUPPLEMENTAL PLANS INVENTORY

Understand which benefits, plans and policies are being offered to employees in each foreign location. Maintain headcount records and expected growth by region.

Annual Plan Renewal

Collect and analyze renewal data available including claims experience. Prepare renewal strategy, including the internal business objectives for each country.

Country Specific Benchmarking

Utilize current global and local survey data to understand and communicate the status of benefits offerings. Benchmark the current inventory against peer organizations. Set the planning direction for the upcoming three years.

Plans Implementation

Drive plan implementations while partnering with local constituants.  Keeping the lines of communication open accross the organization during planning and implementation is key. 

Vendor Management

I serve as your internal resource for international benefits management, while partnering with your international broker.  We will collaborate on contracts, negotiate rates, and meet regularly to ensure each country is compliant in their offerings.

Employee Communications

I will draft your employee communications to announce changes and enhancements.  Keeping your international intranet portal updated with timely documents and information for employees to access may be built into this process.

Reimbursement Policies

Designing various benefit policies when traditional self-insured options are not available or cost effective.

Multinational Pooling

Partner with external vendor to identify internal populations best suited to become part of a pooling arrangement. Prepare internal proposal identifying areas of risk. Implement plan changes and build employee communications.
